October 25-29, 2010 - Senior Adult Mission Trip to the Rio Grande Valley

The purpose of the tirp is to help local pastors and churches in the Valley reach out to their communities through the Christmas Stocking Ministry and other mission activities. We will also be taking good, clean, used closthing and shoes to be used for distribution at the Valley Mission Retreat, where the group will be staying while there. Last year, carpenters, electricians, gardeners, persons to sort and label clothes and assemble Christmas stockings were needed. We had a great response in donations to the trip last October and those who went received a wonderful spiritual blessing. We are hoping more can go with us this year, but if you cannot go, maybe you can make Christmas Stockings, ( patterns available), or furnish items to stuff the stockings. Of course, monetary donations are gladly accepted to purchase items and supplies needed for the trip. We received over 300 paris of shoes for children at our Senior Adult Banquet this year!

Summer of 2011 - Trip to Alaska

Our tour will include a 6 day tour of the Interior of Alaska including Anchorage, Fairbanks, Talkeetna, Alyeska and riding he Alaska Railrod to Denali Park for a visit. Then, we will board the crusie ship in Seward for a seven night "Inside Passage" cruise with stops in ports such as Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Haines andSitka. Of course, seeing the beautiful glaciers in Galcia Bay is a highlight of the cruise as we travel toward Vancouver. Brochures will be available in Spring of 2010.

Spring of 2012 - Amtrak Trip to California and up the West Coast

Then fly home from Seattle or Portland.

Short Cruises out of Galveston - May be "Last minute" Cruises

Australia/New Zealand - No date set - Call, or e-mail, if interested

Other shorter trips to Baptist Conferences, retreats or celebrations may come up form time to time.
