Executive Director
Dr. Randy Newberry

 

Dr. Randy Newberry was unanimously called as Galveston Baptist Assocation Executive Director on September 21, 2009.  We welcome Randy and his wife Jan as they come and join Galveston Baptist Association as we reach Galveston County and beyond for Christ. Randy holds an earned doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Randy has served with IMB as Church Mobilization Consultant. He and Jan were former missionaries to Brazil.

 
 

 

 

Administrative Assistant

Brenda Davidson has been Administrative Assistant for Galveston Baptist Association for thirteen years.  Brenda is a member of New Hope Baptist Church, League City and works with their ladies ministry and is a member of their missions committee.  Brenda is married to John B. Davidson and they have three grown daughters, Kimberly, Tiffany and Lacy and two son-in-laws, John Wilson, Jarrod Quinn.  They have six grandchildren, Kanon, Scotlyn, Taylor, Reed, Brent and Addison.  Brenda served as Secretary for First Baptist Dickinson for ten years before coming to the GBA office.  She has enjoyed working with the GBA-WMU serving as their Prayer Coordinator and working with the GBA-WMU Leadership Team.  She now serves as GBA-WMU Secretary.

 

 

Galveton Baptist Association Executive Director Emeritus

At the 60th GBA Annual Meeting, October 20, 2009 a unanimous vote was taken to give Dr. Grayson Glass the title, Galveston Baptist Association Executive Director Emeritus.
