GBA TEAM BASED MINISTRIES
Administrative
Lead the association in the development and utilization of proper systems needed to manage associational resources. Assist the association and the churches as they work together, and in conjunction with other associations and conventions when opportunities arise, in developing relationships and partnerships that will strengthen the Kingdom’s work in GBA and around the world.

Church Strengthening
Assist the churches in developing stronger, more vibrant ministries leading to spiritually healthy people and churches
Worship Development, Disciple Making, Age Group Ministries, Stewardship, Church Reclamation and Mission Education
Assist the Associaton and its member churches in devloping fellowship groups to enhance the Christian fellowship among our Baptist people. Such groups will consist of age group fellowships, as well as affinity groups. These fellowship groups, if they choose to operate under the adminsitrationf of this Team and be recognized as official GBA sanctioned organizations, would be subject all Associational policies and procedures.
Community Ministry
Lead the association in developing and implementing a community ministry strategy that takes the association and the churches outside the walls of the church. Lead the association to develop and implement, if necessary, a workable comprehensive plan of disaster preparedness and relief, ministering both inside and outside the Greater Galveston County area to churches and individuals.
Assist the community ministries that already exist in the GBA area ( i.e.) Hospitality House, CWJC, Crisis Pregnancy Centers, Mission Galveston,/Texas City, and Family Ministry. Disaster Relief Training, developing TBM units ( cooking, chain saw, etc.), developing and implementing a disaster plan for GBA people and churches, giving GBA churches and people a place to minister in times of disasters.
Missions & Evangelism
Lead the association in developing and implementing an associational evangelism strategy. Assist the churches in their evangelism efforts. Call all people and churches inside of GBA to prayer and to help GBA churches develop complete and usable prayer ministries.
Associational evangelism rally, training events, prayer seminars, training, retreats, materials, emphasis such as the National Day of Prayer
Lead the association to develop and implement a total associational mission’s strategy based on Acts 1:8. Create a Jerusalem Team to reach Galveston association. Establish a Judea Team to develop mission strategy to reach Texas. Establish a Samaria Team to develop a partnership with another association or a local church in a pioneer area of USA. Lead an Ends of the Earth Team to develop a partnership to reach the unreached internationally.
Local church planting, Associational mission trips, Baptist Student Ministry, Mission trip assistance for the GBA churches and people
Assist in developing leadership for our churches, both church staff and laity.
Seminary extension, Pastoral training, Retreats, Deacon Development, Ministers’ family, Recreational and Fellowship opportunities
